First Holiday from college.

Fun days are back, its not that we didnt have fun college, but just that we dont have to worry about our classes anymore. This is my first vacations from college. So now my daily schedule is very cool now, it starts with laptop and ends with it. One season of friends lasts one day. After each couple of episodes I open Gmail, Facebook and Quora, and ofcourse after every season I open my college webmail. Its amazing.

When I came back Home

While coming back from college to home in winter vacations on the way home from airport, i felt like I had left something at my college. I dont know what that means but i felt like something was different. College had now become an integral part of me in less than 4 months.

Diwali

Well this was our first diwali in our hostel and sure we enjoyed it.
We had created Ganesh Ji using Diyas in our hostel garden, had less of crackers though. We had evening Arti at Kapili hostel followed by DJ nite at Manas Hostel.

Rangoli at Dihing Hostel Entrance.

We live with nature

Almost all hostels have their pet cats,
these cats are afraid of no one. They are our canteen dwellers. They are part of our smalls talks and form an integral part of them.

Dont dare to Disturb me
We also have other organisms living in our vicinity, once we had a Mantis in our hostel lobby and it sure reminded us of Kung Fu Panda.
Not to mention the numerous Spiders we have here, and toilets have even bigger ones. Dont get scared they are harmless.

Witnessed Moon Halo

At night around 1 am one my friends called me outside to see this amazing view, it was truly first such thing I saw in my entire life.

Our Campus- Where Education meets Nature

We have the most beautiful college campus in India, let the pictures make you believe it.

A nightout with Seniors.

11-Oct-15 9:13 AM: I get a call at 1:30 at night from my friend to come over to his room to decide the topic for the short-movie competition for Manthan. We start to discuss over different topics. Fast forward one hour which included a snacks break too. We get over to the seniors sitting in the hostel field near the canteen, who were also deciding over the story for the movie. Well then we had some good story-tellers out there and of-course there was a whole lot of audience and then nobody looked back at their mobiles again. After making it to 4:30 seniors decided to take us to Khokha market for a Tea Break. The walk from our hostel to khokha market was amazing, we saw the leaning Dibang hostel, it actually looks like leaning tower of pisa. We got to know about our institute and our seniors. The tea stall hadnt opened by then so our seniors took us to the banks of Brahmaputra river. The view was amazing. One thing I love about my institute is the natural beauty you find here.

We came back and then seniors shared their experiences here. We then waited for the breakfast to start and have our Dosa's and then bid each other good night.

This is hostel life, you go to do something else at night and come back in morning after doing so many other things.

Its 9 am now, so another Sunday goes down sleeping, well thats fun, thats college.
